The Fiishery Hole

Lets Get Messy! Lets Get Pulling!

My creative works with clay often involve playful and whimsical forms and details, as I am very fond of organic and funky ornamentation on clay bodies. I find that I am most drawn to clay pieces that have intricate details and or just fun form and context to them. Mostly because just considering myself first, I have always considered myself a maximalist and a lover of trinkets.

More is always better to me! And I stand by that statement, in my art it is important to me that my audience and viewers can continue to find things within my vessels to admire and discover, even feeling my pieces as well! I love the intimacy of being able to come closer and feel the piece mentally and physically, how the texture feels and what my audience may emotionally connect with it or what they may think I felt when making the piece

Working with clay is such an intimate but freeing feeling and I can only hope other people who see my pieces and feel them can see the love I poured through my hands on the clay bodies.
